Very interesting read, I loved it! :) Until I read the title, I had never thought about it, and it is true: I actually don't ever remember seeing my smartphone in my dreams. Years ago I had a weirdly intense dream (those I do note down for future reference), where I woke up within the dream and it was the year 2008. The dream was so intense - that in it, I was asking my brother how come I was here at my home in India when it really was 2016 and I should be in Germany. He looks at me like I am crazy, saying I've always been here - and I must've been dreaming that I was in 2016. And to prove to him, I reached out to my phone, and I was shocked that it was the Nokia N72! The phone I was actually using at that time. The dream continues vividly, with me trying to find ways to somehow wake up back in the future! It was scary, but I finally woke up for real, sweating from head to toe - confused between dream and reality! Sorry for the long comment, but I mean that despite such a vivid dream, I only saw a dumb phone and not a smart one 😂
