Thanks for the super interesting and provocative perspective on anti-aging! Nothing in the universe is truly immortal, entropy being the ultimate master. Entropy of a system always increases with time - and any system favours things that follow this rule. But there is a hypothesis that says that life itself exists because it follows this rule of increasing the entropy of the system in the most efficient way. So may be, immortal life is ultimate efficient entropy generator of the universe and that is why we innately seek it. Humans may be finally able to solve longevity in some way or the other, just not in the way we are thinking about it right now.
