Such a wonderful article! It is amazing how having different nuanced words for the same big concept can make a huge leap in our understanding. It kind of makes me think of "1984" where totally eliminating words from the vocabulary diminishes people's range of thought itself. Though at an extreme level in 1984, similar trends do seem to be happening in the real world where subtle nuances are either ignored or viewed in disdain, while everything that has less complexity, lower effort and thought is glorified. I hope humanity understands this and pivots quickly.
