It is a really great and thought-provoking compilation! I specifically found point no. 25 intriguing. The more I read about this, the more I tend towards thinking of only 2 scenarios:

1. Intelligence and consciousness are really just accidental accessories we got through evolution, having no specific purpose for the multiplication of species (for. eg. bacteria, cockroaches have survived and thrived for millions of years without these traits).

2. That intelligence and consciousness are a bridge leading to the next kind of "life" form that is purely digital (cybernetic organisms or full robots). With the exponential rate at which we were offloading our natural thinking capabilities to computers, it might as well happen that our brains begin to shrink in the coming generations, while robotic beings (with/without consciousness) multiply and grow.
