I am an android user, but have seen apple products and how people use them and talk about them. Nevertheless, I feel the products have something regal about them - it may be due to good marketing or great UI. Or probably an appeal to our emotional core. I could never quiet put my finger on it, but apple products surely have a strong coolness factor that make people buy them even if a better competing product exists.
